Things have been busy for us here at Autovance. We’ve been on a road trip, leaving behind our home of Lethbridge, Alberta to exhibit at NADA 2018 in Las Vegas and then TADA ACE in Niagara Falls! We joined forces with our parent company, Quorum DMS, to network with all kinds of North American dealers and vendors and share what we’ve been working on.
NADA 2018 – Las Vegas, Nevada
To kick things off, we journeyed to the wild and crazy city of Las Vegas, Nevada for NADA 2018, the biggest automotive show in North America. The three-day event was loaded with knowledge and industry sessions for dealers, an exhibition hall to see what was new in the market, and of course the many awesome parties, dinners, events, and A-list performances that one would expect in Las Vegas!
After touching down on Thursday, the night before the show opened, we met up at the Las Vegas Convention Center to put the finishing touches on our booth for the weekend. We were proud to join Quorum in their brand new booth that featured two living rooms, four demo stations, a conference room, and a candy bar! The energy was in the air as everyone was able to see the incredible exhibits and we started to prepare our own for game day: the hall was bustling with exhibitors racing to get set up for the big show.
The team was able to attend and sponsor the Canada Night NAD’Eh party at the Hard Rock Vinyl club: it was the ultimate place to be for all Canadian dealers attending the show. What party would be complete without some entertainment? Playing the party was East Coast folk legend Alan Doyle and the Beautiful Gypsies who put on an incredible Canadian show!
GAME DAY! The show opened up Friday morning jam-packed with vendors and dealers excited to see what was taking place. Autovance and Quorum took charge and had a great first day, as we had many exciting new things to share. We unveiled the first-concept preview of our upcoming F&I menu solution, promoted our new integration options for CDK & PBS dealers, and of course showcased the many performance improvements and upgrades we’ve made to our flagship desking tool.
After a busy opening day at the show, the team got together for dinner, drinks and a wonderful evening catching up with one another.
Saturday morning, we were back at it and ready for a busy day ahead on the second day of the show. Another day full of partner meetings, demos and laughs as everybody rocked it! The final day saw dealers trickling out, but a few demos, laughs, and meetings and it was a wrap! It was the Autovance team’s first time exhibiting at NADA and what a success: we hope to see everyone at the show next year. We went home for a quick week before jetting off to the next stop, the Trillium Auto Dealer’s Association Automotive Conference & Expo.
TADA ACE 2018 – Niagara Falls, ON
The Niagara region played host to this year’s TADA ACE event, a two-day exposition full of dealer sessions and of course, a big party! The event kicked off Wednesday morning with a keynote presentation by Peter Mansbridge and continued with various other speakers throughout the day.
We were in the booth again with our parent company Quorum DMS, showcasing our flagship desking tool and helping Quorum promote their DMS offering.

It was a busy day of exhibiting, showing our software to dealers and connecting with our existing dealers. After wrapping up the first day of the exhibition, the Toronto Star held a cocktail reception for all attendees followed by the big TADA ACE party at Margaritaville!
What kind of automotive conference would it be without a party or two?
The party was a packed house with Kim Mitchell playing, drinks flowing, and energy rushing through the room: everyone was having a great time!
We were back at it the following morning for the final day of the event, which was host to many more dealer sessions from industry experts, and a closing keynote from Michele Romanow of Dragon’s Den! Traffic was off to a bit slower start on day two (definitely not because of the Margaritaville party the night before) but proved to be a great finale to the event.
